Details This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 18/12/2018 SJ 98 NE 7/97 MARPLE MACCLESFIELD CANAL Bridge Number 1 (Junction Bridge) 20.12.67 GV II Roving bridge. Completed by 1831. William Crosley engineer. Rock-faced with ashlar dressings and parapet walls. Horseshoe arch with keystone, ashlar band and concaved parapet walls with rounded tops which are terminated by battered square piers. Spiral towpath walk.
