Details SP 59 NE WHETSTONE HIGH STREET (East side) 1787/1/10004 War Memorial II Celtic cross in rough-hewn white granite, with sword motif on west side. Inscribed square pedestal, 2 steps, and plinth, 2 steps, in the same material. C1920. Granite plaque and bronze wreath to west. Surrounding planting and brick path enclosed by tubular railing with granite plinth and piers. Listing NGR: SP 55689 97491 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register.
