Details SO 76 NW ROCK CP - 7/304 Stildon Manor - II Manor house, now farmhouse. Mid-C18 on medieval site, with mid-C19 and some mid-C20 alterations. Brick with machine tile roof. H-plan, gable end stacks to cross-wings. South front: gabled cross-wings each of two storeys with a 3-light casement under segmental head on each floor; return fronts have dentilled brick cornices; central range: one storey with attic, lit by two gabled dormers; ground floor: 3-light casement under segmental head; entrance to left-hand corner has a lean-to tiled C19 porch. Interior: no trace of any structure earlier than C18, but roof not seen and the plan form suggests the possibility of medieval fabric.
