Details The List entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 1 February 2017. DUKINFIELD SJ 99 NW Victoria Road 3/5 Newton Wood War Memorial II War memorial. c.1920. Sculptor J.J. Hirst of Denton for the Newton Wood Committee. Ashlar. Aedicular memorial stands on a stepped plinth and has pediments with carved tympana on all 4 sides. Engaged corner antae flank the rolls of honour and the whole is topped by a carved crown. Listing NGR: SJ9415996739 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register.
