Details ST BRIAVELS CHURCH STREET SO 50 SE (north side) 6/152 Monument to James Gough in the churchyard c 15 metres south of the chancel wall of the Church of St Mary GV II* Chest tomb. Late C17. Sandstone. Flat top to moulded edge on a frieze with guilloche or palmette decoration, high relief panel with armonial bearing to east and drapes to west, north and south panels a central elongated ellipse with divided panel top and bottom, heavily enriched moulded surrounds, base sunk and the south panel displaced at time of survey, November 1983.
