Both rubble, harl pointed with stugged dressings. Iron mill wheels without buckets to each west gable. Top mill; 2 storeys, 3 bays, with wooden lean-to. Lower Mill; 2 storeys and attic, 5 bays with extra door in ground floor and hoist loft entrance in west gable apex. Slate roofs to both mills. Mill Cottage; early 19th century, small single storey, 3-bay harled cottage; centre door; flanking windows 1 with 8-pane casement and 1 with 12-pane sash; end stacks; corrugated iron roof. — Former woollen mills. "High Mills Cottage" not included in list.
