Details GARSDALE SD78NW HAWES ROAD 162-1/11/240 (South side) 14/06/84 Low House Bridge GV II Bridge over Clough River. Probably C18, and perhaps re-built in late C19 after flood; altered. Sandstone rubble, roughly coursed in the abutments, snecked in the spandrels. Segmental arch with rubble voussoirs, thin stone slate band now surmounted by iron railings which have replaced rubble parapets, only the ends of which now remain. Included as part of a group with Low House Farmhouse (qv), barn on east side of entrance to Low House Farm (qv), garden shelter approx. 50m south-west of Low House Farmhouse (qv): retained on list despite loss of parapets because structure of arch is intact.
