Details This entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 16 November 2022 to correct typo, to remove superfluous source details from text and to reformat text to current standards. THORNCOMBE ST 30 SW 1/69 HOLDITCH COURT LANE Holditch Court, Tower 50 metres South of Holditch Court Farmhouse 4.12.51 GV I Tower (remains of a fortified manor, R.C.H.M.). C15 Chert rubble walls with stone string courses on corner stair-turret. Open masonry shell, with projecting circular stair-turret at South-West angle, rising above the present wall-heights.
