Details In the entry for: PORLOCK CP ASHLEY COMBE PORLOCK WEIR Worthy Manor The entry shall be ammended to read: PORLOCK CP WORTHY COMBE PORLOCK Worthy Manor ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SS84NE PORLOCK CP ASHLEY COMBE PORLOCK WEIR 3/44 Worthy Manor 22.5.69 GV II Manor House. C16, possibly earlier, extensively altered, especially late C19-early C20, possibly by C F A Voysey. Red sandstone random rubble, part roughcast, slate roof hipped to right, extended as catslide over porch, stone stack rising from eaves left of porch, right gable end, and 3 stone stacks on south-west return L-plan. Two storeys, 4 bays, all early C20 casements, 2-light left of projection beside stack containing 3-light, 2-storey porch with glazed opening left, 2-light caseaent end bay right, ground floor similar 2 and 3-light windows left of cambered head entrance to porch, 2-light casement to right, chamfered pointed arch door frame with ribbed door. Three bay left return with coped verges at gable end. Interior not seen, said to contain plank and auntin screens passage, pointed arch wooden door frames, chamfered beams with enriched stops and exposed collar beam roof; information taken from previous list.
