Details SZ 57 NW 1353/6/10002 NITON AND WHITWELL HIGH STREET Whitwell War Memorial II First World War memorial. 1924. Portland stone. 3.5 metre tall Celtic cross on a 3-stage base. On the sides of the base there are inscriptions to the memory of Whitwell men killed in the First and Second World Wars. Listing NGR: SZ5207778091 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register.
