Details A First World War and Second World War memorial. MATERIALS Slate slab, with a bronze sculpture. DESCRIPTION The memorial takes the form of a large, upright slate slab, which is inscribed, above which is a bronze laurel wreath, all set under a much later timber canopy. The slate is inscribed with the names of those who died and those who served: TO THE MEMORY OF THOSE WHO SERVED THEIR COUNTRY/ 1914 - 1918/ 1939 - 1945/ (NAMES)/ THOSE WHO SERVED/ (NAMES). This List entry has been amended to add the source for War Memorials Online. This source was not used in the compilation of this List entry but is added here as a guide for further reading, 21 February 2017.
