Details HARINGEY TQ 33 91 CHURCH LANE (North West Side) 800-/7/10023 War memorial in Tottenham Cemetery GV II War memorial to the men of Tottenham who gave their lives in the Great War. The design is the 'Cross of Sacrifice' devised in 1919 by Sir Reginald Blomfield for war cemeteries abroad but widely adopted in Britain. Portland stone cross on octagonal stepped plinth overlaid with bronze sword. The war memorial is the centrepiece of a formal layout within the western half of the cemetery, opened in 1883.
