Details BILSBORROW SD 54 SW 8/28 Walmsley Bridge - - II Bridge over River Brock, probably early C19. Sandstone ashlar. Single elliptical arch has voussoirs with alternate rustication. Band below solid parapet with Coping Western parapet inscribed: 'Walmsley Bridge AD 1883'. This may be the date when the brudge was taken over by the County Council. A second cruder inscription reads: 'TR 1879" Part of this bridge is in Claughton C.P. (q.v.)
