Details CAMBORNE TRESLOTHAN SW 63 NE 8/96 Treslothan War Memorial GV II War Memorial. 1920's. White granite ashlar. Mounted in the centre of a very wide raked octagonal deck. Base of 5 octagonal steps, octagonal plinth, tall rectangular shaft to shaped cross; the plinth has a large raised rectangular panel in each cardinal side, each with inlaid metal lettering, that on the east side as follows:- TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN HONOURED MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919 LEST WE FORGET and the others each with 7 names. The foot of the shaft has added lettering relating to the war 1939-1945, with 24 names round its base. Listing NGR: SW6508437844 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 24 July 2017.
