Details CHUTE UPPER CHUTE SU 25 SE 9/91 Three Freeman monuments in angle of chancel and organ chamber, Church of St Nicholas II Three chest tombs in group. Early C19. Limestone. From north: a) Inset bead moulded table and cyma base on plinth. Fielded side panels with concave corners. Table set to incline and carrying inscription to Emily and John Freeman of Chute Lodge, died 1819. b) Moulded table and base. Two fielded panels to sides, single at ends. Inscription on table to John Freeman of Chute Lodge, date of death not read. Table conjoined with: c) Similar to last, to Elizabeth Freeman and others. Dates of death not read. Last two monuments in poor condition (February 1987). Listing NGR: SU2993153999 Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
