Details CASTLE ASHBY CASTLE ASHBY PARK SP85NE 6/37 Terracotta Bridge GV II Bridge. c.1765 remodelled c.1868. Brick faced with limestone ashlar with terracotta details. Low 3-arched bridge rising gently to centre and with parapets curving outwards. Elliptical arches, that to centre larger with terracdtta keyblock. Balustraded parapets: each four sections divided by panelled piers, all of terracotta. Bridge lies between Park and Warren Ponds. (Castle Ashby park and gardens are included in HBMC Register of Parks and Gardens for Northamptonshire at Grade I) Listing NGR: SP8660458818 Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
