Details SOWERBY BRIDGE BRIDGE STREET SE 0423 and SE 0523 12/12 Stirk Bridge - - II Road bridge. Mid - late C19. Ashlar and cast iron. 2 span bridge with central stone piers having faces cut to triangular section. Fielded panels to base of causeway. Railings have plain bars, supported by intermediate scrolled brackets, and plain handrail. They terminate at south end in ashlar piers with pyramidal caps and at north end in walls.
