Details ST75SE RODE CP SHAWFORD 4/419 Shawford Bridge over River Frome GV II Bridge. Circa 1752 for Black Dog Turnpike Trust. Rubble, some ashlar. Three semi-circular head arches with key stones; ashlar parapets with copings; square ashlar piers to each side at each end. (O Bryan Mohand, An Introduction to The Infrastructure Of The Industrial Revolution In Somerset, 1982; Robin Athill, Old Mendip, 1971). The asset was previously listed twice also under List entry 1308039. This entry was removed from the List on 29th May 2015.
