Category C Date Added 26/06/1986 Local Authority Dumfries And Galloway Planning Authority Dumfries And Galloway Parish Tynron NGR NX 84017 94346 Coordinates 284017, 594346 — Buiilt 1801. Roadbridge, single segmental arch high above Scaur water; widened to north, retaining profile, probably first half 20th century. Built of squared rubble with recessed ashlar arch ring to south. Flat roadway (originally ramped) with (rebuilt) parapets, with terminal blocks: south parapet splayed slightly at approaches and linked at west to Capenoch gatepier and quadrant walls. — Also in Penpont Parish. On site of an earlier bridge.
