Bridge of flat-arch, hump-backed girder bridge of rivetted scissor braced steel construction with timber boarded deck. Approaching flanks each marked by 2 pairs of red sandstone ashlar corniced piers with pyramidal caps cushioned on ball feet, with ball finials, each pair terminating a short stretch of saddleback-coped wall. — The stonework on the gatepiers of a neighbouring lodge is en suite with that here.
