Fairly squat stone obelisk on pedestal with moulded cornice and moulded plinth, over the cornice is small pediment on each side with acroteria at corners. Inscription John Henry Earle, surgeon. Born Feb 26 1809, Died Dec 11 1858. Parish Church of St Peter & St Paul, Churchyard Boundary Wall, War Memorial and Monument to J H Earle form a group.
