Details CHURCH STREET 1. 5320 (North Side) War Memorial South of Church of St Peter and St Paul TG 2142 1/62 II GV 2. Circa 1918. First world war memorial. Ashlar. Moulded shaft with niche containing small figures of servicemen. At head of shaft is capital and gabled crucifix with crocketed pinnacle on top. The whole standing on stepped base with names of dead inscribed. Parish Church of St Peter & St Paul, Churchyard Boundary Wall War Memorial and Monument to J H Earle form a group. Listing NGR: TG2198142169 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 23 January 2017.
