Category C Date Added 17/12/1979 Local Authority Dumfries And Galloway Planning Authority Dumfries And Galloway Parish Minnigaff NGR NX 36236 74824 Coordinates 236236, 574824 — 1841. Vehicular bridge over Water of Minnoch; single track on E-W axis. Single span, with segmental arch. Rubble. Granite voussoirs and abutments. Stone parapets replaced by modern iron railings and concrete coping. — Minnoch Bridge was built in 1841, according to the NEW STATISTICAL ACCOUNT. The bridge is featured in THE FIVE RED HERRINGS by Dorothy L Sayers; the place where "the body" was discovered is situated to the NW of the bridge.
