Details MEDBOURNE SP 79 SE MAIN STREET (East Side) 8/80 War Memorial GV II War memorial cross. c1920. Stone. An octagonal 3 stepped plinth supports square pedestal, which tapers slightly towards the top. From this projects the shaft, square at base, then octagonal, which is surmounted by a cross with a circle joining the arms. On the pedestal are inscribed the names of fallen in both World Wars and an inscription. The whole is c3m high. Listing NGR: SP7998493005 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 19 January 2017.
