Details SE 24 NW LINDLEY FARNLEY TO LINDLEY ROAD 4/56 Lindley Bridge over River Washburn 22.11.66 II Bridge. Shortly after 1767 with C19 addition to north. Ashlar. Tall round arch to left, lower flood arch to right, small round arch far right. Large pointed cut-waters each side. Plain voussoirs to main and right arches, rock-faced ashlar over, projecting band, parapet with flat-pointed coping. Shallow flanking buttresses to larger 2 arches, with the coping raised slightly above them. The smaller arch, far right, has rock-faced keystone and voussoirs. It was probably added when Lindley Wood Reservoir was built, c1866. A severe flood destroyed the bridge in 1767 - see H Speight, Upper Wharfedale, London, 1900, p 107.
