Details NZ 70 NE 8/112 6/10/69 GLAISDALE LEALHOLM Lealholm Bridge GV II Bridge over river Esk. Early C19. Coursed tooled sandstone with ashlar dressings. Single deep segmental arch with voussoirs and arch ring. Band at parapet level broken forward around ashlar buttresses. At south end and at north-east abutments and parapet splayed out. Shallow sloped parapet coping. North-west parapet replaced by C20 railing with stone piers. On south-west abutment: YNR No. 388 in inlaid lead figures, and same legend on attached iron plate.
