Single round-arched bridge over Bonaly Burn with high, semicircular-coped parapet walls. Squared, snecked sandstone rubble. — A small and attractive bridge, right at the top of Dreghorn Loan, by Laverockdale House. Dreghorn Loan is part of an old drove road that ran down from the Pentland Hills to the Water of Leith and thence to Edinburgh. There must have always been a crossing in about this place, but this bridge was not built until the 2nd half of the nineteenth century ? some time between the publication of the 1855 OS map, and the 1894 OS map.
