Category B Date Added 05/11/1971 Local Authority Dumfries And Galloway Planning Authority Dumfries And Galloway Parish Kirkpatrick Irongray NGR NX 91688 79620 Coordinates 291688, 579620 — Built 1855. Roadbridge; 2 segmental arches over Cluden Water. Bullfaced red ashlar, pointed cutwater either side, channelled voussoirs: outer pilaster strips: band below coped parapets, latter curved at approaches. Flat roadway. — Also in Holywood parish. There are 2 drawings in SRO of proposed bridge at Gribton 1824; RHP 35863 is a proposed suspension bridge by Walter Newall. RHP 35864 is an alternative design in stone by - Seggie, architect.
