Visiting

High Wycombe is sometimes portrayed as a rather dull town where nothing much happens, as in this exchange between Kenneth Horne and Kenneth Williams in Round the Horne: The town was mentioned several times in series 4 episode 2 (The Lying Detective) of the BBC TV series Sherlock, much in the same key. Scenes in series 2 episode 3 (The Waldo Moment) of the Channel 4 TV series Black Mirror were filmed in High Wycombe. Science fiction comedy film Bugonia started principal photography filming in High Wycombe in July 2024.
