Details SS92SW BRUSHFORD CP EXEBRIDGE 14/41 Hele Manor - - II House. Circa 1912. By Horace Farquahrson for Mr Amory. Random rubble local stone, hipped plain clay tiled roofs, overhanging boxed eaves, brick stacks, long irregular plan lying east-west, entered north-west corner, service wing east end with courtyard. Georgian style. South front; 2 storeys plus attic, full height canted bays with 16-pane sashes flanking central 2-bay loggia with asymmetrically placed entrance, one bay set back left, bays set back right with lateral stack and service wing beyond; catslide roof swept down over single storey, 3-bay range, An attractive composition. Main entrance on north front via ashlar Ham stone hooded porch, octagonal in plan, panelled door. Interior not seen. A good example of an Edwardian gentleman's country residence.
