Hawen is a hamlet located 68 miles (109 km) from Cardiff and 187.6 miles (301.9 km) from London in Troedyraur, Ceredigion, Wales. Hawen is represented in the Senedd by Elin Jones (Plaid Cymru) and in Parliament by Ben Lake (Plaid Cymru) for the Ceredigion Preseli constituency. He won the predecessor seat (Ceredigion) at the 2017 general election, gaining the seat from Liberal Democrat Mark Williams with 11,623 (29.2%) of the vote, retaining the seat at the 2024 general election.
