Details 1. 5028 HAMPTON COURT Hampton Court Tilt yard tower TQ 1568 32/31 2.9.52 I GV 2. Tower on wall between Tilt yard and The Wilderness, from which to observe tournaments. Early C16, with later modifications. Red brick. Three storeys. One window wide, with further bay set back to right. Castellated parapet with stone dressing. Arched window to ground floor segmental above, rebuilt later. Built by Henry VIII. Only survivor of the original 5 towers.
