Details WINSON WINSON VILLAGE SP 0808-0908 9/259 Group of 9 mainly Howse and Bridges family monuments in the churchyard approximately 6m south of porch to Church of St Michael GV II* Six chest tombs and 3 pedestal tombs. Mid C18 to early C19. Limestone. Described in rows running from north to south and from west to east. Chest tomb. Dated 1767. Limestone. Rectangular with carved borders to incription panels incorporating cherubs' heads. Floral drops to pilaster strips. Frieze and moulded top with high coping; moulded plinth. Inscribed to HARMAN HOWSE, and to RICHARD HOWSE, died 1767. Chest tomb. Dated 1752. Limestone. Similar design to above tomb. Inscribed to RICHARD HOWSE, died 1752. Chest tomb. Dated 1767. Limestone.
