Details NORTHLEACH WITH OFF THE MARKET PLACE SP 1114 EASTINGTON (west side), Northleach 8/108 Group of 3 monuments in the churchyard of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, c9m south of south-west corner of south aisle GV II Three chest tombs. To Thomas, son of Richard and Alice Rickett, nearest church. Early C18. Limestone. Only legible inscription on south side with cherub heads in upper corners. Sunken marginal panels. Inscription panel on north side with 2 winged cherubs at top and fluted marginal panels. Plain sunken panel at east end. Capping with moulded margin. Eroded moulded upper capping stone. Chest tomb to Hannah --------, died 1766, clm west of monument to Thomas Rickett. Limestone. Inscription on north side within sunken inscription plaque. Similar inscription plaque on south side divided into two panels. Sunken inscription plaques at either end flanked by quarter balusters. Partly shattered capping with moulded margin and moulded upper capping stone. Chest tomb clm north of the latter. Late C18-early C19. To members of the Rickett family. Inscription to William Rickett, died 1803, on south side. Partially legible inscription on north side. Fluted marginal panels. Oval panels with incised margins at ends. Capping with moulded margin.
