Category B Date Added 03/08/1971 Local Authority Dumfries And Galloway Planning Authority Dumfries And Galloway Parish Durisdeer NGR NS 83527 05635 Coordinates 283527, 605635 — Dated 1825 on 2 diagonally opposite parapet terminals. Roadbridge over River Nith. 2 wide segmenal arches (1 flood relief). All grey ashlar, stugged, with polished dressings; bullfaced below springing line; central pier has droved ashlar shallow, wide pilaster strip over cutwater either side: band course below coped parapets; parapets (also droved) curved outwards at approaches. — The Commissioner of Supply agreed to provide this bridge on condition that the Duke of Buccleuch would take over responsibility from the county for the bridge at Drumlanrig.
