Details SE 27 SW AZERLEY GATE BRIDGE ROAD (west side) 4/21 Gate Bridge Mill (formerly listed as 5.1.77 Galphay Watermill) GV II Watermill. Probably early C19. Coursed squared gritstone rubble, Westmorland slate roof with stone ridge. 2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows with lower bay to left. Board door centre of main block, blocked doorway to left. 6-pane fixed window first-floor left, 20-pane fixed window right. Lower bay: 2 pairs garage doors, 6-pane casement above. Rear: lean-to wheelhouse with breast-shot wheel. Interior: main block contains working milling machinery. Detailed drawings and description by A Newland, Department of 3-D design at Leeds Polytechnic, 1973.
