Category B Date Added 03/08/1971 Local Authority Dumfries And Galloway Planning Authority Dumfries And Galloway Burgh Langholm NGR NY 36302 85031 Coordinates 336302, 585031 — Built 1784-6. Roadbridge, 2 segmental arches over Ewes Water with pointed central cutwater either side. Stugged grey ashlar, polished voussoirs band course below parapets (latter rebuilt in 19th century and with ramped and splayed approaches). — Replaces 1772-4 bridge "swept away" November 1783. (See D1/1/7 and Hyslop, LANGHOLM AS IT WAS, 1912, pp.436-7). Also in Langholm parish.
