Category B Date Added 03/08/1971 Local Authority Dumfries And Galloway Planning Authority Dumfries And Galloway Parish Lochmaben NGR NY 06819 85214 Coordinates 306819, 585214 — Built 1825 (datestone indistinct). Roadbridge; single, wide Segmental arch over Water of Ae. Bull-faced, channelled red ashlar and voussoirs: band below ramped and coped parapets: latter have diagonally droved inner faces and square piers to slightly curved approaches. — Also in Kirkmichael Parish. NRA(S) 1837 p.14 notes a (?circa 1900) plan and elevation of Elshieshields Bridge.
