Details CUXHAM WITH EASINGTON EASINGTON SU69NE 4/89 Easington Manor 18/07/63 (Formerly listed as Manor House) GV II House and cottage. Early C16: rebuilt in late C18, Front of header bond brick with red brick dressings: roughcast rear wall except rear right corner of early C16 random bond brick. Gabled concrete tile roof; brick end stacks; early C16 stone lateral stack finished in brick to rear right. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range to left has gauged brick flat arches over late C19 four-panelled door and tall sashes. Bay to right has similar arch over sash above late C18 six-panelled door set in beaded architrave and with flat hood, and segmental-arched tripartite sash. Red brick storey band. Late C18 brewhouse to right of similar materials with brick end stack and gauged brick flat arch over sash. Exposed early C16 walling to rear right corner: pointed chamfered arch to old plank door, 2-storey square bay has late C18 sash, label mould over horizontal sliding sash and C16 one-light window with stone chamfered surround. Interior: late C18 fireplaces, 6-panelled door and cornices. Cellar has C16 chamfered beams. House to left not inspected.
