Background

Visiting

The site, since about 1979/80, has been occupied by a Morrisons supermarket. The adjacent Bowls Hall, with the original clock which was restored, was re-erected by contractors Fairclough Building Ltd onto the east wall of the supermarket overhanging North Road. The Stooperdale offices were grade II listed in 2001.
