Details COLESHILL CHURCH HILL SP2089-2189 (South side) 10/10 First World War memorial approx. 25m N of Church of St. Peter and St. Pau1 GV II First World War memorial. Circa 1919. Ashlar. A rectangular pedestal on a plinth with moulded coping is surmounted by a cross, and 2 statues: the figure on the north side is an infantryman holding a rifle, and that to the south a sailor holding a chain and rope. Both are in contemporary uniform. The memorial is approached from all four sides by 3 steps; on the east and west the steps bow out in the centre. Listing NGR: SP2009089082 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 17 January 2017.
