Details THORPE SALVIN CHESTERFIELD CANAL SK58Skl 5/80 Thorpe Bridge II Canal bridge. c1840. For the Chesterfield Canal Company. Limestone ashlar voussoirs, otherwise red brick. Single span. Projecting springing stones to segmental arch with projecting keystone originally with ledge over. Abutment walls curve out to terminate at projecting end piers, some of parapet brickwork renewed. Rectangular-sectioned stone copings now partly replaced in concrete. Listing NGR: SK5176682206 Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
