Details DENTON DENTON PARK SE 14 NE SE 1532 4846 (east side) 10/26 Bridge over Hundwith Gill GV II Bridge. Probably c1778 for Sir James Ibbetson of Denton Hall, possibly by John Carr. Ashlar. Single segmental arch flanked by pilasters which are carried up to parapet coping level with shallow pyramidal caps. A 2-course projecting band at road level is carried round the pilasters and the square section bollards which terminate the parapet. The bollards also have shallow pyramidal caps and the slightly projecting coping stones continue as a projecting band around the pilasters and bollards The bridge carries the east drive from Denton Hall to the East Lodges (qv, Askwith parish) and straddles the parish boundary.
