Category A Date Added 05/10/1971 Local Authority Stirling Planning Authority Stirling Burgh Doune NGR NN 72996 01296 Coordinates 272996, 701296 — Rubble-built single span, steeply humped: inscription on inside of south parapet: BUILT UPON THE PUBLIC EXPENSE OF THE SHIRE AD 1735 — Replacement of bridge blown up by Duke of Argyle 1715. The mid 19th century replacement of this bridge, formerly of three arches has been reconstructed.
