Single span bridge with broad, low segmental arch. Rubble with channelled ashlar voussoirs, hoodmould, bracketted string course to base of parapet, latter droved coping intercepted by raised vertical stones. — Parapet form is common to many in East Lothian, and runs well beyond the actual span here. A 2nd bridge in Gifford, on Station Road, is listed separately. Part of Gifford Village A Group.
