Category B Date Added 03/08/1971 Local Authority Dumfries And Galloway Planning Authority Dumfries And Galloway Parish Durisdeer NGR NX 86972 98121 Coordinates 286972, 598121 — Probably built second half of 18th century. Roadbridge, single segmental arch over Carron water; widened on corbel tables in 19th century (latter survives to east) and again widened in 20th century with secondary arch to west. Rubble-built, with red ashlar dreessings. East parapet widened at approaches (other parapet almost straight). Square-section small tunnel on north abutment runs full width of bridge. — Also in Morton Parish. Shown on RHP 38136/5 (1772) in SRO.
