Details FIRBECK NEW ROAD SK58NE (east side, off) 3/22 Bridge and weir approximately 140 metres to east of Firbeck Hospital GV II Bridge and weir. Early C19 for H. Gally Knight of Firbeck Hall. Ashlar limestone. Single span. Projecting voussoirs to elliptical arch with double keystone; band and coped parapet of larger ashlar blocks ramp down from centre and curve out to terminate in rounded end piers. Rear: weir integral with bridge controls level of lake thus forming main landscape feature to front of Firbeck Hospital (q.v.). 1 Listing NGR: SK5676288795 Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
