Details HUNTWICK WITH FOULBY NOSTELL PARK SE 4017 AND NOSTELL 6/37 Bridge and boat-house 25-3-1968 with associated basin at east end of Lower Lake (formerly listed as "Bridge at E. end of lake at Nostell Priory") - II* Bridge and boat-house, with associated basin. C18. Sandstone ashlar. Oval basin approx. 20 metres across, with outlet sluice at east end. Private road bridge at west end has a single segmental arch with rusticated voussoirs and raised keystone, flanked by channelled piers; roll-moulded band; chamfered coping, carrying ornamental fleur-de-lys-headed railings (alternately wavy and straight), with open-work standards over the piers Entrance to boat- house on south side, in matching style (but without the railings) modern light-weight roof to rear of earth-covered vault.
