Details NZ 10 SE ASKE B 6274 10/12 Aske Bridge - II Bridge. Late C18. Ashlar sandstone. Single segmental arch with archivolt flanked by pilaster buttresses in which are recessed shell niches. Band. Segmental coping to parapets, which terminate in circular bollards. On the buttresses between the band and coping are vermiculated paterae. This may be the bridge designed by Lancelot (Capability) Brown for Sir Lawrence Dundas. Listing NGR: NZ1808103045 Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
