Snowdrops are usually Britain's first flower of the year, appearing in late January or early February. Best displays: Welford Park (Berkshire, opens just for the snowdrop season), Painswick Rococo Garden (Gloucestershire), Anglesey Abbey (Cambridgeshire), and Cambo Estate (Fife). Most are NT or RHS-run with timed entry tickets.
